The Treatment Process - Step by Step
The treatment with the HarmonieSchiene can be easily integrated into your daily routine.
How the therapy works exactly, you will see here:
Step 1: Dental Anamnesis
At the beginning the patient's wishes are first discussed and exact replicas of the permanent dentition of the customer are created. The diagnostic models are digitally measured in the dental laboratory Orthos in order to determine the number of necessary aligners.
Upon consultation by telephone the therapeutic goal will be determined and you will receive a free "HarmoniePlan", which describes the course of therapy, the number of aligners as well as treatment time and cost in detail.
Step 2: Information
Based on the individual "Harmonie Plan" you will discuss with your patient the course and scope of therapy at the next appointment. Up to this time no costs arise for the customer from the laboratory. If desired, you can have target models produced (62.00 CHF per jaw). The target model shows your patients in advance, how their new harmonious smile would look after a treatment. This motivates and raises anticipation!
Step 3: Beginning of the Treatment
Once your patient has made a decision you can start with the treatment. Send Class 3 dental cast models with a distortion-free dental crown to the laboratory or a permanent impression with correction mass (situation bite). Afterwards you will receive the "HarmonyBox" with the consecutively numbered HarmonieSchienen. If an interproximal enamel reduction must be performed a preparation plan is enclosed.
Step 4: Therapy Course
The first aligner is worn for 3 weeks. Then the plastic aligners are changed every 2 weeks and the respective intermediate step is controlled. Except for eating and dental care the HarmonieSchiene must be worn the whole day. How many aligners are needed and how long the treatment lasts depends on the individual deformity.
Step 5: Retention
To retain the treatment result permanently, there are basically two options: The retention by wearing removable aligners or a fixed retainer. After functional review and possible grinding measures the proposed retention apparatus is incorporated. If desired, bonded retainers are adapted to the final model (RotkäppchenRetainer).
